When it comes to printing, what we look for is quality and speed. But with the advent of wireless internet connectivity, people just seemed to go mobile-crazy and shit! Now, printers just don't have to be fast, affordable, and of high-quality when it comes to its printing capabilities. Yes, it has to be portable as well! But with the MY_WAY mobile printer, the manufacturers of this crap just seemed to miss out on the first aspect most people look out for in a printer, and that's speed!
Friday, May 4. 2007
The MY_WAY mobile printer is from Olivetti, one of the lesser known manufacturers of good printing machines. Now this printer provides good quality print-outs, not to mention maximum portability due to its size. But, I'm afraid the manufacturers just seemed to forget the first thing we look for in a printing machine, more so in a mobile printer! Yes, and that would have to be speed. With this mobile printing machine, you get slow photo prints. But the photo print-outs that this printer can come up with has enough quality to give HP a run for its money!

With the MY_WAY mobile printing machine from Olivetti, you are assured of maximum portability. This is because it is bluetooth-enabled, which means that's it's absolutely wireless! Plus, you can easily connect your digital camera to this printer so as to print what you have in your digital camera's memory card. Yes, with this printer, there's no need for a computer, a printer memory card, and cables! But, you just have to wait a little longer for those print-outs. This is because the manufacturers of this product probably compensated speed for maximum portability and quality.

Mobile computing has changed the way we do business. Back in the days before wireless and mobile gizmos, we were limited to our office buildings and homes for our computing ventures. Now, with digital communication systems paving the way for mobile communications and wireless digital information access, we can now do business while on the go. There's even an add-on to our mobile exploits, and these are those portable printers. The Fujifilm MP-70 mobile printer is just the right tool for your portable photo printing needs.
Tuesday, May 1. 2007
Photo printing is now becoming mobile due to the proliferation of mobile phones equipped with digital cameras. Not only mobile phones, but small digital cameras were the first to actually produce the need for an actual mobile printer. With this, the Fujifilm MP-70 can easily print photos the size of credit card frames. Plus, this portable printer can connect itself to your handy mobile phone via infrared connectivity. Just remember that your mobile phone should be equipped with a digital camera, for this printer would be useless otherwise.
Monday, April 30. 2007
The Fujifilm MP-70 mobile printing machine, or portable printer, can only print photos, and nothing more. This is due to its sheer size. You see, this mobile printer can only produce photo print-outs the size of credit card frames. But because it is from Fujifilm, this printer is equipped with an application that automatically enhances the quality of your photos. This is because photos captured with mobile camera telephony devices are rather low in resolution and thus quality. So you should always acquire original Fujifilm ink for this printer so as to provide yourself with high-quality photo print-outs from this baby.

I don't know what you'll be doing with a high-end portable printer that is more of a pocket cash register than one full-fledged printer! I think digital information technology pushes people to be a whole lot stupid-looking and hardworking than providing convenience and a damn smart and snappy attitude! I don't even think a damn accountant would want to make transactions and give out receipts on the streets! That would push them to follow their stupid-assed bosses, who have more time talking nonsense on the phone than actually running their businesses, everywhere they go!
The MPrint MW-140BT portable printer is just the gizmo I was referring to. This printer has the capability to connect itself to your handheld computer, PDA, or even your bluetooth-enabled smartphone. It also has support for USB connectivity. But the main problem this printer has is that it's too damn small to print full-sized documents. That's why I think of it more as a pocket cash register than the kind of portable printer that we have -- you know, the normal one! Plus, it doesn't give you enough quality when it comes to its print-outs! Thus, it wouldn't even be able to give you quality snapshot photo print-outs! It would just provide you with a damn pocket cash register, that's what I have to say!

If you're mental picture of a mobile printer is about the size of a computer keyboard, better go over those spy novels you have on your office shelf again! Well, just in case you didn't notice that the world is shrinking with the number of people now living on it, I think you should read more on the advances of digital information technology! On the other hand, I think you should also read about Bush's prized solutions for population control, which is war! Thus, if the world is shrinking, then the gizmos of the people should be shrinking with it as well!
With this, people are now running on and around the world, to and fro each destination, caryying along a functional mobile office of sorts. They each have a mobile phone for their telecommunication needs, a handheld computer to provide them with fast internet connectivity, and of course, a high-tech portable printer that is for their documents that just can't wait 'til they're within the range of an electrical socket! With such a fast-paced life, no wonder the life expectancies of the people of the world are getting shorter and shorter with each handheld addition!
Seiko Intruments USA, a main producer of such gizmos, have a high-tech portable printer within their production line. The DPU-3445 printer is just about the size of two decks of cards, each deck at the other end of the other deck! But, as for its size, imagine which types of documents you could print with this machine! It has a relatively slow printing speed compared to that of desktop printers. Plus, the quality of the print-outs you'd be getting from this gadget is relatively lower than that of desktop laser printers! Well, this is because this machine has compensated printing quality and speed for its sheer size. But, it isn't noticeably that bad! I think you should try it out yourself and see how it fairs in answering your fast-programmed life!

I'm thinking on how soon we have to wait before certain parts of the human anatomy are generally replaced by computing peripherals. This would evidently increase our productivity and efficiency for various purposes. This thought of mine was founded on the basis of what is happening today. We have all bits of communication and information protocols that have been invented running with efficiency levels and speeds we have only imagined before. Such are fast internet connections, mobile communications, the internet, instant messaging clients, P2P technology, VoIP, etc. Then in comes another set of handheld devices for entertainment and business purposes, such as those handheld computers, pen scanners, palm-sized TVs, etc. But, the latest addition would have to be the high-end portable printer.
I don't know who had the idea of inventing a handheld printer, more so what this person was thinking of back then. We have all types of printers, print shops, as well as computer shops with printing services, that are accessible to us even if we take our work on the road. Regardless of the fact that this person had seen the need for a high-end portable printer, I still don't see his point in inventing one! But, it seems to me that some of the top manufacturers of printers have also seen the viability of this product!
With this, I am left with no choice than to choose the best high-end portable printer from a long list of options if I ever found the need for it. The best option would be for me to choose the SiPix A6 Pocket Palm Printer. This is because this handheld printer could be connected to my handy Pocket PC, a gadget I don't leave home without. This handheld printer also supports infrared connectivity, which means I won't tangle myself with those messy wires and cables, something that I find to be totally history in the field of both wireless and mobile technology. Thus, if you have seen the light on this matter, then this printer would fit your needs perfectly. That is, if you carry along a Pocket PC, just like me.

Paper power still prevails in spite of the growing computer technology. Despite our countless effort on making our office lives paperless, still the messy sheets of papers are cluttering our desks. Although some of us are maybe using our portable laptops or notebooks in taking notes and checking references, the majority of office workers would rather glimpse the minutes of meeting on a sheet of paper.
I'm not suggesting that we should ditch the conveniences that technology offers and go back to basics. I'm just trying to make the point clear that paper sheets are here to stay as well as printers. I think the rationale behind this is that not all of us are capable of providing ourselves with our own Pocket PCs or even laptops for that matter. Likewise, during meetings and conferences, the agenda or the whole entries discuss in those events are distributed through enormous pile of memos and not through Bluetooth nor disc.
But, I wouldn't deny that a paperless world is highly practical as far as time and money is concerned. But even if we are drowned with myriad stacks of paper everyday, we can still save a lot of money through using the right printer. TallyGenicom's 9025N monochrome laser printer is one of the efficient ways to eliminate paper pressures for the budget wise computer addicts. It can print 25 pages in a minute in a 1,200 by 1,200 resolution. When there's a need to print in two side, this printer has a deplexer to boot. Although the gadget might not entice the geek or wizards in the computer world because it lacks the features of the perfect computers, it is actually created for those who doesn't need a high technical support knowledge to put an ink cartridge in a printer.

Things just keep getting better with multi-function printers. Before, I used to have a facsimile machine, a Xerox machine, and an HP printer in my office table. I used to think that it will be better if I have several machines to perform their assigned tasks simultaneously. I guess you will find this inconvenient, but the fact that it worked for me, I was not convinced until I tried multi-function printers.
I said printers because literally, I tried many types. One of them is the MFC-420cn by the Brother manufacturing company. It sure does not sound as popular as other brands, but Brother is one heck of a machine not to be missed by offices. Just imagine that it convinced me to completely put away my other machines. Aside from being an Inkjet printer, it also is scanner, fax machine, photocopier, photo printer, and message office. Now, that is what I call multiple functions.
All I had to do is connect the printer to my computer, and I am ready to do immediate file sharing on the network. It works with Mac OS and Windows. The Brother allowed me to save a relatively larger table space. For the more technical part, the printer can process approximately 20 papers in a minute, and has enlargement and reduction features. On the other hand, the memory of the fax function can hold 480 pages, and automatically updates the received and sent messages.

Printing digital photos is never the same without the Sony DPPFP50 Digital Photo Printer. This printer utilizes another breakthrough in printing technology called sublimation of dye colors. The use of this technology enhances the quality of prints as it provides vibrant and rich photos.
Another amazing feature of this digital printer is its ability to print a picture that is borderless having the size of 4x6 inches. The printing time for such takes only about a minute. The sublimation of dye colors provides tone of pictures continuously for about 16.7 million different colors. This printer comes with a lamination system called SuperCoat 2 that strongly seals dyes intact to the media. This process keeps color longer as it prevents sudden fading, damage due to moisture, and prints from fingers among others.
In addition, this printer also features a paper tray that automatically feeds paper thereby allowing you to easily print as many as 20 pictures in just one printing session. Plus, you could have your very own lab that processes photos by simply installing DPPFP500 part to your printer. This printer is also compatible with any computer device for other computer-related functions and operations.

The Samsung CLP-500 borders luxury and affordability. It can be used to answer the needs of a small business or home users. It has a bottom cassette with a 250-sheet paper capacity with an auxiliary tray that can hold an additional 100 sheets. If that's not good enough for you, the Samsung CLP-500 has an optional paper tray to further increase its paper capacity. The unit has a base memory of 64MB and can be expanded into 192MB. This first ever color laser printer from Samsung costs $700 without the add-ons and about $1000 with it. The CLP-500 prints relatively quieter compared to other printers in the market. As for its print speed, it can print 5 colored pages per minute and 21 pages per minute for black and white.
One of the most remarkable features of the Samsung CLP-500, aside from its expandability, is the built-in duplex unit. This enables the CLP-500's double-sided printing capability; you can access this feature in the menu of the control panel of the printer or from the computer driver's Properties tab.
For networking, the unit has a USB 2.0 port as well as parallel port connections. If you boost the CLP-500's memory to its maximum, the printer should be able to support a workgroup of 15 to 20 people. The black replacement cartridge can print up to 7,000, a lot higher than the starter cartridge which could only print 2,000 sheets. The color cartridge can print up to 1,500 sheets for starters but the replacement can produce up to 5,000 sheets. A lot of people say that the quality of the CLP-500's print output leaves a lot to be desired.

Next in line is the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 from Epson. The Samsung ML-1651N laser printer offers a one-touch toner-save function that significantly reduces its toner consumption by up to 40 percent. It could also extend the life of its toner cartridge big time! You could print 3,000 more pages, and on the average ML-1651N’s cartridge has a lifespan of 8,000 pages. The Samsung ML-1651N is a network enabled SOHO 17ppm mono laser printers with a resolution of 1200 dpi. None too shabby eh?
The ML-1651N’s capabilities can be expanded to suit specific printing requirements, such as printing larger images, if equipped with a 166MHz RISC processor which could increase the printer’s board memory to 144MB. Although the default 16MB board memory and two 100pin SDRAM expansion slots are efficient on its own, a larger memory is always a welcomed optional bonus.
The printer is not necessarily meant to handle a rough and extreme office workload environment but it can still prove to be a useful printing device. The ML-1651N comes with a 500 sheet cassette tray located on the lower part of the machine. It also comes equipped with an external multi-purpose tray that has slots which accepts heavy weight papers like folders and transparencies. All in all, the ML-1651N can hold its own and provide the printing needs of a humble workplace.
