If you have a lot of documents to print, a laser printer may be the most economical choice for you. Laser printers make use of cartridges filled with printer toner, which produces clear, crisp documents.
What is a printer toner?
A printer toner is a special powder used by laser printers and photocopying machines. It comes in black and colored variants. Printer toner generally lasts longer than the ink used by inkjet printers. A single printer toner cartridge may print thousands of pages before it needs to be replaced or refilled.
Tips when buying a printer toner
You should always buy a printer toner that is clearly marked to be compatible with your printer. Buying brand new printer toner cartridges sold by your printer’s manufacturer is the best way to make sure of this. Unfortunately, this can be very costly. To help their customers save money, some manufacturers sell cartridges that you can return to them for refilling, with a minimal fee. Many online retailers also sell recycled printer toner cartridges at a cheaper cost than you would find in offline stores. A reliable online retailer will offer recycled cartridges for a wide variety of printer brands and models. There are also refilling services that will refill your empty cartridge for you. You can also purchase toner kits for you to refill your cartridge yourself. However, this is not recommended, as refilling printer toner cartridges can be very messy and complicated, unlike refilling inkjet cartridges.
Although laser printers can cost more than inkjet printers, the amount of printing you can get out of printer toner may save you from large expenses in the long run.

The printer toner is one of the most important components of the printer. It is a specialized type of ink that comes in powder form and adheres to the drum or piece of paper that is charged with the opposite polarity as the toner. It is contained inside the printer toner cartridge that you replace when the toner runs out.
What to look for in a printer toner
The first thing to consider when buying a printer toner is the compatibility with your printer. Experts also recommend that you test the toner before you buy. Most computer stores usually allow you to do this if you make a request. If you have a high-end printer and you do not want to risk voiding your warranty, it is best if you buy original equipment manufacturer printer toners or OEMs. These are made by the printer manufacturer, especially for your brand and model of printer but are often very expensive. However, toners like these deliver the best quality prints.
Top brands that sell printer toners
The top brands that sell printer cartridges include Epson, Lexmark, HP, Canon, Xerox, and IBM. For something cheaper, go for compatible ink cartridges that offer basically the same output. Compatibles are made by companies that produce ink identical to those produced by top manufacturers and with more toner at a lesser price.
The printer toner is the lifeblood of your printer so it is important that you buy compatible toners that will not break your printer after a couple of prints. Choose the right toner by making sure the toner is compatible with your printer and by testing it before purchase.

You may be wondering why I know so much about money saving techniques when it comes to various printing ventures. You see, apart from being an extremely resourceful person, I am also a guru when it comes to improvisations. Yes, even improvisations can be applied to high-tech electronic equipment. All it needs is tremendous analytical prowess and solid steel guts! The former is for checking the availability of resources that would be very helpful in answering the situation you and your printing needs are facing. While on the other hand, the latter is for the mindset to go through the improvisation process. With this said, I think you now know how I got the information on resetting Epson ink cartridges, don't you? Now I will wholeheartedly give you an ink saving tip for your Epson cartridges that doesn't require all the qualities that I have and you probably dream of having.
You see, unlike Canon printers, Epson printers can't function with just a colored ink cartridge. This makes you think of the possibility that leaving the empty black ink cartridge with the colored ink cartridge would solve this situational problem. That's right, since Epson printers have two, doesn't it? Absolutely wrong!
What would be the right thing to do is to go to your local dealer and buy either a brand new black ink cartridge or replacement ink cartridge. Or you could even have the option of refilling your empty Epson cartridge at the local ink refilling station down the road, right? Make it a point to leave some black ink in your black ink cartridge. This could be done by monitoring the printer's black ink levels through the monitoring application system that comes bundled with the Epson driver CD. If you don't need black on your print-outs, then go right ahead and print those documents! But in case you need black ink for your text documents, then either go for very dark blue or a color nearest to that of black! Otherwise, if you can't seem to find an exact match, better print those documents out with the darkest hue of blue possible. Then, reprint the same text documents using the same print-outs with dark blue text. Now it's black, isn't it?

Hp ink cartridges can be very expensive. Yes, it can be, and you would know why if you have read my last post. If you have not, then go read it then! The reason for this is because original HP ink cartridges have their own lens in each cartridge you buy. Amazing as it is, it's true! With high-tech electronic equipment pertually developing faster than fungal growth, it was definitely bound to happen. Buut what is bound to happen more was ink refilling. Yes, and for HP cartridges, this is definitely something out of the information on HP you'd get from the world wide web!
Yes, ink refills are now being administered to used original HP ink cartridges. Just as much as prepaid internet cards are being marketed, the purpose of ink refills proliferating all over the world for various printer cartridges is cost. That's right. Cost.
Prices of original HP ink cartridges are balanced by the company's commitment to high quality and integrity. That's right, integrity. Because of quality that goes beyond printing, HP ink cartridges are an assurance of durability. If quality has a price, what more then is durability worth? For HP, it may be worth as much as it costs! HP ink refills, now this is something new to the world of HP. Yes, this concept was borne out of people's need for thriftiness. But there are things to consider before acquiring an HP ink cartridge refilling service. First would have to be the information on the company which offer refilling services for those used HP ink cartridges of yours. Next would be for you to know. If an ink refill doesn't cost much, then what more have you got to lose than buying a new original HP ink cartridge. Always keep in mind the first thing to consider, which I have mentioned prior to the long standing fact of life contained on my last statement. Then, if you did get a killer deal out of it, I guess you already have a refilling station to go to everytime you run out of ink! Last thing you should know, though, is if the ink that is injected in your used HP ink cartridges is original. That would mean contacting HP ink cartridge technical support. Yes, they have such a service open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just ask about the refilling stations that were given permission by the company to do such services. This would mean original HP ink refills then! With original HP ink, you get what you paid for, but with slightly a lower cost than buying a new original HP ink cartridge!

Ink cartridge replacements are getting more and more popular these days. Howwever, some say its getting more and more infamous! Just like how high-tech electronic equipment paved the way for everything to be digitized, the digital age also made way for piracy and near-flawless imitations to prosper! As someone who spends more on food than on my printing needs, I'd always go for the replacements.
Just what they always say - the original is much better than the sequel, or even the prequel, and this, too, applies in ink cartridges. Replacements are just what you would want it to look - exactly as the original, yet if you try to look even deeper, you'll notice the difference - quality! Hardcore visual artists would definitely see the difference just by the color textures, sharpness, and edges of the printed digital images.
So I suggest that if your one who chooses quality over your savings regarding your printing needs, go for the original ink cartridges then. But if you're someone who doesn't have a problem with blurry images, faded color tones, and the like, then go get the replacement cartridges. Grab two of them, 'cause it'll cost you less for two than what'll cost you for one!
Yet, always keep in mind that there are always warning messages on the manuals that come with quality printers which tell the user not to use non-original ink cartridges or otherwise the warranty will be voided, and maybe they included this warning on the manual because it'll damage the printer itself, don't you think?

When you lose out of ink, you immediately think of buying another ink cartridge. But like other products that you buy in any store, cost comes first to mind. Some ink cartridges are just so expensive, it just doesn't fit your computing budget. Then you think of another option- ink refilling.
Before you go out to your nearest computer retailer to buy a refill, you must remember a few things. Ink refilling, although definitely cheaper than buying a cartridge, is a messy task and not to mention difficult to do. And a successful ink refill doesn't guarantee a clean print.

Before, running out of ink is a very big problem. Considering that ink cartridge is expensive, an inkless cartridge is indeed a predicament. However, developments in technology changed the situation. Computer users can opt to refill their used cartridges in ink refilling stations.
In doing this, cartridge have to be properly cleaned. This will ensure that other objects are not added when the ink is refilled. Also, the inkless cartridges have to be dried. This is done to secure the quality of the ink and avoid blots when printing.

The quality of your print-outs does not only depend on the printer and paper, mostly, it depends on the ink.
If your monthly family income is based on the hard copy, a good supply of ink is what you need. It is more economical to refill cartridges, yes, so you need high-end ink. Colors should be of great blend and hues should be just perfect, otherwise you could get a pale red (or pink) in your supposedly red roses. Quality ink is also guaranteed to last longer than other inks.

Like a bullet to a gun, the ink serves as a complement good to the printer cartridge. Without an ink, having a printer is more than useless.
In the market today, several developments have led to the changes in inks. The quality has increased tremendously due to tight competition. Several ink producing companies treat the competition as a welcome improvement. Because computer users pay attention to performance, the best ink has to be produced. Today, most ink is classified as quick drying and blot free. Amazingly, the quality of ink keeps on making headway movements.

Inks are expensive. But if you want to have quality pictures then you should buy ink from the original ink manufacturer.
If your income relies on good print-outs, it's best to invest on quality printer ink. It will make your printing jobs clearer and you will have more satisfied clients or customers. A few dollars shouldn't bother you if the printing industry is feeding your family.
But if you rely on quantity more than quality, refill your ink cartridges and use them over and over. It's just but practical.
